I know the education you received
at BAM faculty, PSTU will serve you well. But what you have now is the
foundation. From here, the degree of your triumphs will be measured by your
willingness to embrace new realities, adapt to changing times and size
promising opportunities. I urge you to have the courage to chart your own
course, undaunted by others’ definitions and standards. Only you can measured
your worth and determine the length of your reach.

good luck, “what starts here changes the world”. Take that to heart.
Message
First, let me offer my heartfelt
congratulations to the graduates as we celebrated the Fourth Convocation of
Patuakhali Science & Technology University. This is a proud moment for all
of us as it represents the culmination of their hard work and achievement. It
is not only our graduates that we celebrate today, but also their parents and
the faculty and staff of the university the vibrant institution that it is.
In the course of just seven
years, the University has come a long way. It is recognized as one of the top
public university in the country, and it strives to offer courses and programs
that are contemporary and relevant to the needs of the present day. At the same
time, the board-based education our students receive ensures that they learn to
think critically and see things from multiple perspectives. We are also mindful
of the critical needs of our society, and offer specialized postgraduates
programs in Governance, Public Health, Development Studies, Business Administration,
Applied Economics, Disaster Management and English.
My advice to our graduates is to
reflects on what you achieve so far, while also remembering that there is much
more to learn. You have had the privilege of receiving an excellent education,
but that also means you have the responsibility to use your education for
betterment of our society, to improve the lives of others who have not had
opportunities that you have had.

It gives me pleasure to
congratulate the first batch graduating class of Patuakhali Science & Technology University
University has moved ahead with
tremendous strides in the last seven years, and our students and graduates are
the proof of our progress. Your parents and guardians also deserve special
recognition for all they have done to make your education possible. And of
course, the faculty and staff that form the backbone of this institution
deserve praise for always striving to
help students achieve their full potential.
We are all aware of the complex
problems of the world today, and as future citizens of this country and of the
world, it will be your responsibility to try to takel some of these problems.
We have endeavored to provide you with an education that will give you the
sills necessary to succeed in your chosen field. I’m confident that the
knowledge and training gained here will hold you in good stead in whatever
career you decide to pursue.
I hope that all of you will
succeed in your dreams, and some day become leaders in your field. But always
try to continue learning from others widening
your knowledge, and gaining
wisdom.

Preface
Steeped in the values inherited from its
parent institution BAM Faculty aims to educate young people who will be creative
and independent thinkers with a deep engagement with the culture and
inspiration to work for its development. In there very first year and business
to these issues through two specially designed courses during

clubs and forums worked together to collect money and relief materials.
The challenges of the
twenty-first century are complex and formidable, not only in Bangladesh , but
in the ever-expanding global village of which we are a part. To meet those
challenges, the leaders of tomorrow must be creative and dynamic, able to deal
with any situation that comes their way. This broad-based education makes
students well-rounded and versatile, with the ability to adapt to any
environment. Later in their final year, we are required to write a dissertation
or do an internship, which gives us hands-on, real world experience. We also
participate in co-curricular activities to develop our communication and
leadership skills.
Communication skills, both oral
and written, are emphasized by the English language courses conducted by the
Center for Languages, which will also soon offer courses in other languages. By
emphasizing group work, projects, and co-curricular activities, BAM faculty
strives to create an enjoyable and student-centered learning environment that
motivates the students and improves their communicative fluency and leadership
skills.
To be center for excellence in
higher education, a university must offer academic programs that are
contemporary and relevant, a top-notch faculty that can deliver high quality
education, and modern facilities in line with the latest technology. The

As a premise in providing four
year BBA degree in Bangladesh ,
Business Administration Discipline is maintaining its relentless endeavor in
providing modern and quality education to its students. Arrangement of this
tour is the reflection of that commitment. As a part of this discipline and tour,
I believe that only classroom lessons are not sufficient for students to
succeed in the present adverse, competitive global environment they must have
comprehensive knowledge of national and international issues relating to
various fields. So arrangements of SAARC tour this will be of great help for
the participating students to enrich and share their knowledge of education,
culture and economy of this region.

most exigent and dynamic in nature. Being the business potential we need to
acclimatize with the shifting environment. Moreover lifestyle of the people is
gradually changing. Their tastes and preference are very much differentiated.
We must be cautious about this showground and capture the ins and outs of the
